What’s a Jack Talk?

Jack Talks are free mental health presentations by youth, for youth. Talks give young people the space to learn mental health essentials, including signs of struggle, the role of the social determinants of mental health, self-care strategies, and where to seek support if they or someone they know is struggling.

What’s New?

This year we have more Talks offerings than ever before, with something to suit every school, classroom, or community.
We also make sure we're listening to educators AND young people, when it comes to creating resources they need most. Check out two of our Foundations Talk themes here:
Social Media Literacy

Theme 1: Social Media Literacy

Social media literacy is the ability to critically analyze, evaluate, access, and engage with various social media platforms. Hear Jack Talks Speakers discuss how they navigated this in their own lives, and encourage positive mental health social media practices with your students.

Theme 2: Academic Pressure

Academic Pressure is the mental strain students feel due to ongoing internal and external pressure related to school, which can drain their mental energy. Hear Jack Talks Speakers discuss their journey navigating this in their own lives, so your students can do the same.
