Mara (she/they) is currently doing a Bachelor's of Social Work student at Dalhousie University. She also holds a BSc (Hon.) in Neuroscience and a certificate in Animal Behaviour, also from Dalhousie. Her background is in psychology and neuroscience research, and she is currently working part-time as the lab manager for a cognitive psychology lab and an art research lab. Outside of school and work, she volunteers as a Jack Talks Speaker for Jack.org, and a Crisis Responder for Kids Help Phone. She also has three year-old Golden Retriever named Rocco, and an occasional side gig as a party princess performer.
