Leyan is currently a Master's student in Global Health at McMaster, and recently graduated from Health Sciences at Queen's. She's an Iraqi-Canadian who's hometown is Mississauga. Leyan's experience with Jack.org started in her university chapter and has since grown to Talks, as well as this year, being a Network Rep! In her free time, she loves being with her dog, Hummus, playing volleyball, and singing.
