Mackenzie America
Madaline Pacurari (she/her) grew up in Sherwood Park, Alberta, and is a third-year Health Sciences student at the University of Ottawa. Since high school, she has been dedicated to becoming a mental health professional, driven by her passion for working with children and teens. Her lived experiences have provided her with deep insights into mental health and wellness, inspiring her to help others navigate their own challenges. Madaline aims to empower young people to speak openly about their mental health, change the way it’s understood, and spread the message that there is always hope and no one is ever alone. In her free time, she enjoys fostering animals, exploring nature, and embarking on road trips.
