Chelsea Opperman

Chelsea is a dedicated social justice advocate, focused in the areas of mental and menstrual health. She identifies as Mohawk, from The Six Nations of the Grand River Reserve! Through her advocacy, she has founded Flowing for Change, a grassroots organization dedicated to period poverty eradication, and menstrual health equity, and donated 52,000 period products to her community. She is currently completing the 4th year of her Honours Degree in Women and Gender Studies at Lakehead University. When she is not working, or doing school she enjoys hanging out with her friends, crafting, and spending time outside in nature!
