Payman is a Social Service Worker student at Mohawk College who is passionate about supporting newcomers, youth and communities. His personal experiences with grief and starting over have shaped his belief in the importance of mental health and open conversations about wellbeing. Outside of school, he enjoys running, connecting with his community and taking part in cultural and leadership activities. He hopes to use his experiences to encourage others to speak openly, seek support and know that they are not alone.
