Saria has been actively involved with Jack.org since 2020 through the Chapters, Talks and Network Representative programs.
Saria's involvement with Jack.org grew out of her own experience in trying to find accessible support, which fueled her passion for wanting to make things better for others. From this experience, alongside those of the youth she works with, she understands the importance of making care more accessible, inclusive, and culturally responsive. As a researcher, teacher, advocate, and psychologist-in-training, Saria works closely with children, adolescents, and families, and her lived and professional experiences fuel her passion for reshaping the mental health landscape. She is committed to ensuring that all youth, especially equity-deserving youth, have access to safe, supportive environments that will help them to thrive.
