Ms. Uy is currently the CFO & COO of SAXX Underwear Co. a leading men's apparel brand based out of Vancouver, BC, and has more than 25 years’ experience in the consumer products, ecommerce, and retail industries.  Ms Uy was the former Chief Financial Officer of the SPUD group of companies, where she oversaw all finance, accounting, payroll and legal operations. Prior to joining SPUD, Ms. Uy was Corporate Controller for 3TIER, a global, renewable energy information-to-decision technology company with offices in Seattle, Panama, India and Australia. In addition, Ms. Uy has held roles at Starbucks Coffee Company in their Financial Policies & Compliance, Financial Reporting and Corporate Accounting groups; as a Vice-President at Jones Soda Co. where she was responsible for distribution and logistics for the company’s networks across North America and for its ecommerce business units. Ms. Uy has completed a Bachelor of Science (Accounting) and an MBA at Seattle University. She is also an inactive CPA (WA state). Ms. Uy served on the board of the Canadian Health Food Association (“CHFA”) and was the chair of CHFA’s Audit Committee from 2018 to 2023.
