
Amber Culley
Amber has completed an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Criminology with Minors in Global Studies and Religion & Culture along with the Arts Global Experience (AGX) Program at Wilfrid Laurier University. She has been able to achieve numerous certifications thus far, such as in Gladue Principles, Body Sovereignty, Mental Health, Agriculture Wellness, Accessibility, Teaching and Learning, Academic Wellness, Gender-Based Analysis, and more. Amber is continuing studies within the Double Masters (MA/MDiv) program in Psychotherapy & Spiritual Care and Theology at Martin Luther University College, the Global Leadership Diploma program on scholarship with the University for Peace, and a Certificate in Faith, Innovation and Social Impact with New York University. Her MA/MDiv program is acknowledged under the Ontario College of Registered Psychotherapists (OCRP) and so will allow her to become a Registered Psychotherapist (RP), Certified Psychospiritual Therapist with the Canadian Association for Spiritual Care (CASC) and possibly a Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC) with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA); with whom she is currently a Student Representative for. Amber has gained experience in teaching and assessment, supporting persons with accessibility needs, working with vulnerable persons, advocating student wellness, supporting international students, representing and supporting student bodies, taking part in municipal work, planning and hosting events, facilitating meetings, creating agendas, discussing finances and budgeting, practicing the use of various software and online design, being in leadership roles, delegating tasks, working within international environments, advocating for environmental justice and food sovereignty, engaging within Indigenous and non-Indigenous contexts, and more.
